We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the Service:

• Account information: When you sign in via our third-party authentication provider, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive or store your password.
• User content: The scripts, shows, and ideas you create and store within the Service.
• Usage data: Basic analytics data such as page views and feature usage, collected via Google Analytics. This data is anonymised and used solely to improve the Service.
• API tokens: If you connect third-party tools (such as AI assistants via MCP), we store cryptographic hashes of access tokens to authenticate those connections. We do not store raw tokens after initial issuance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account
• Store and serve your content back to you
• Communicate with you about service-related matters
• Analyse usage patterns to improve the user experience

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Google Cloud Platform. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with:

• Infrastructure providers: Google Cloud Platform (hosting), Cloudflare (CDN and DNS) — as necessary to operate the Service
• Authentication provider: Our SSO provider processes your sign-in credentials
• Analytics: Google Analytics receives anonymised usage data
• Third-party integrations you authorise: If you connect AI tools or other services via MCP or API tokens, those tools may access your content as you have authorised

We will not disclose your information to any other third party unless required by law.

6. Your Rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your content
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data

7. Cookies

We use a minimal number of cookies:

• Authentication cookie: To keep you signed in across sessions
• Preference cookies: To remember your teleprompter settings (font size, scroll speed, text alignment)
• Analytics cookies: Set by Google Analytics to understand usage patterns

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (including scripts, shows, ideas, settings, and API tokens) is permanently removed from our systems. Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
